major function

By using the "echo echo" technology, ultra-thin parts can be measured, with a minimum thickness (steel) of 0.15mm; On the other hand, high-precision thickness measurement can be achieved with a resolution of 0.001mm; It can also penetrate the surface coating thickness to measure the substrate thickness;

● Increase the function of measuring substrate thickness through penetrating coatings, with surface coatings less than 500um;

● Two types of measurements: the bottom wave echo mode satisfies the conventional measurement of thick workpieces; The echo echo mode satisfies high measurement accuracy for thin workpieces;

Basic Principles

The principle of ultrasonic thickness measurement is similar to that of optical wave measurement. The ultrasonic pulse emitted by the probe reaches the backtesting object and propagates within it. When it reaches the material interface, it is reflected back to the probe. The thickness of the tested material is determined by accurately measuring the time of ultrasonic propagation in the material.
